I bought these shoes to wear to a special social function. I normally don’t wear heals anymore. By the end of the event I could hardly walk because of the pain, which was most concentrated on top of my foot and on the big toe where the strapping comes in contact with the skin. I did not wear them with nylons, if you did it might be more comfortable. The size was true in both length and width. The shoes are very pretty which is why I ordered them. They are also well made.

Please note, I admittedly have slightly wide feet in the front.
These shoes are less comfortable than I expected. I have quite a few pairs of Sofft shoes because they work well as a comfort shoe and also look amazing on – I can wear Sofft heels all day at work and not have a problem with foot pain. Except with these. They pinched not only across the foot but also did strange, strange things to my toes. I ended up with blisters my first time wearing them and have not worn them since. I believe if you have a narrow foot you will not have a problem. I’m not sure that even ordering a half size up would have made them fit better for me. I was disappointed in the comfort aspect of the shoe given my other experiences with the brand, but they LOOK amazing, and the one time I wore them I did receive many compliments as I was hobbling around the office in extreme pain.

(Note: This is a review of the product. The seller was exceptional, and should in no way take any blame for this product.)
I have several pairs of Sofft shoes, which was why I didn’t hesitate to buy these. They are extremely cute, but in my opinion, exceptionally uncomfortable. Since they are patent leather, they apparently don’t stretch AT. ALL.
I normally wear an 8 in Soffts, and that is what I ordered in these, but they just plain don’t fit. By the end of the first day I wore them to work, I had blisters on all of my toes, and everywhere the patent leather crossed the top of my foot. It was a very painful week, in all. No amount of adjusting makes them any more comfortable.
I’m going to try them with some thick socks, to see if that makes them stretch any. (Not in public. Stop looking at me like that.). in the meantime, if you are interested in these shoes, you may want to try them at a local store before you order them online. Just to see about the fit. I suspect it’s something to do with the patent leather.
