What are the best shoes (that arent UGLY) for plantar fasciitis?
I am a 34 year old woman and have had plantar fasciitis for over 2 years now, i m so sick of wearing ugly old man looking new balance shoes its ridiculous..i used to always wear heels, well not always but once in a while, and now since i have developed this, it just SUCKs..all the shoes that are supposed to be good for this are ugly as hell...can anyone let me know of any that are good and ARENT ugly..i need gym shoes for work and i want regular shoes to wear out on a daily basis that arent ugly and gym shoes, i live in florida and its too hot, i have been wearing flip flops cuz its too hot and unattractive to wear thos ugly new balance everywhere..its embarassing actually..
oh i already got custom inserts they suck they cost almost $200 and do NOTHING..they are flimsy my dr said to get hard ones but they cost about $500 and i cant afford to risk that not knowing if it will even do any good. I have spent hundreds on different shoes nothing helps, and i wear flip flops cuz its HOT here, and they dont make sandals for this condition

Dion’t wear flip-flops for he sake of appearance you are killing your feet. These are the worst footwearf you can ever wear and cause tremendous damage to your feet, lets and back. If you want style and looks wear the spring tennis shoes. They have a spring on the bottom I can’t recall what they are called but they offer support and bounce at the same time, but a good bounce as it feels good and is good to walk on them. They look sharp and love that spring on the bottom are kinda expensive, but when it comes to your feet splurge.
you can go to a good shoe store and they can help you. We have stores up in NH that will make a insert to the mold of your feet, or what you need to feel comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis, as well as fallen arches. (gotta love the infantry). I got some sweet inserts, work great.
Here’s a website that might help you if you click on and read the information. These might be able to give you more options on what to do.
